A woman who died in a head-on crash in Winnipeg on Wednesday has been identified as a 97-year-old woman.
The crash happened at around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday on Inkster Boulevard at Roy Roche Drive.
According to RCMP, the car was being driven erratically before it collided with an eastbound pickup truck stopped for a traffic light.
The impact pushed the truck into another pickup truck that was also stopped in traffic.
The 97-year-old driver of the car was pronounced deceased at the scene. Others involved suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
Investigators have not ruled out a medical emergency as a contributing factor in the crash.
The woman's name is not being released to the public, police said.
