The developers of a new apartment complex in downtown Winnipeg have unveiled what the 55-floor tower will look like.

The building, dubbed "Live Work Play Winnipeg," will be situated at Graham Avenue between Garry and Smith streets.

Fortress Real Development says it has already received interest in the 400-unit project, even though it is still two years away from breaking ground.

"We've already gotten a really strong interest from a lot of people who want to be investors and buy the units and rent them out to renters," Fortress president and CEO Jawad Rathore said Friday.
