Cross Lake man charged in fatal weekend stabbing
A 30-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter in the stabbing death of another man in Cross Lake, Man., over the weekend.
The 26-year-old victim was found shortly after 3 a.m. on Saturday and taken to the local nursing station, where he was pronounced dead.
The accused was arrested and charged.
RCMP did not release the names of either man, but said both were from the Pimicikamak Cree Nation in Cross Lake and were known to each other.
The RCMP's serious crimes unit and forensic identification section are helping Cross Lake detachment officers with the investigation.
