Credit cards, IDs stolen in Winnipeg commercial break-ins
Winnipeg police are looking for three men who may have been involved in two commercial break-ins in which credit cards and identification were stolen.
The break-ins happened Jan. 16 and 17 at businesses in the 1800 block of Ellice Avenue and the 3900 block of Portage Avenue, respectively, according to police.
In each case, the victims' identification cards, credit cards and other personal property were stolen and "later used to fraudulently purchase items," police said in a release Thursday.
Police released photographs of three persons of interest, all men between 30 and 40 years old.
