A 23-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man are facing a list of charges after three separate incidents Thursday in which two women were robbed and a man assaulted.

Winnipeg police said the crime spree started Jan. 9 at 8:30 am, when a woman in the 500 block of Machray Avenue was robbed of her personal property by a male and female suspect.

Then, 15 minutes later, the suspects are alleged to have entered a home in the 600 block of Anderson Avenue.

A credit card belonging to a 63 year-old female was among the items stolen.

Police said the couple used the card in the Polo Park area.

That evening, the pair are alleged to have forced their way into a residence where the man threatened a 52-year-old man with a gun. The resident suffered minor injuries in the scuffle, and the couple fled.

The suspects are facing a number of break and enter as well as weapons charges and are being held at the Remand Centre.
