Winnipeg police are on the lookout for a man suspected of stabbing 45-year-old Hector Lee Sinclair to death.

Sinclair and another man were stabbed in the upper body at a home in the 1100 block of Beauty Avenue in The Maples on Dec. 22 at about 9 p.m. Sinclair was taken to hospital in critical condition but died of his injuries. The other victim survived.

On Tuesday, police announced 32-year-old Colin Leonard Traverse as a suspect in the stabbings. He is wanted on second degree murder charges, police said.
