Join us Thursday night to watch the Alberta election leaders' debate live and weigh in on our online chat.

Progressive Conservative Leader Alison Redford, Wildrose Leader Danielle Smith, Liberal Leader Raj Sherman and NDP Leader Brian Mason will face-off on the issues facing Albertans during this much anticipated event.

The 1½ hour debate will be live-streamed right here on our website and broadcast on CBC Radio One starting at 6:30 p.m. MT.

As you watch and listen, join our live chat with alberta@noon host Donna McElligott and CBC Reporter Scott Dippel, who will be on hand — and at their keyboards — to provide analysis and answer your questions.

The debate will be replayed on CBC Television from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. If the hockey game ends after 8:30 p.m., CBC will join the broadcast in progress.

Several broadcasters will air the event live, and it will be hosted at Global Edmonton studios.

The CBC will also be hosting another leaders' forum on Thursday, April 19, from noon to 1 p.m.

That debate will also be streamed at cbcnews.ca/albertavotes and on Radio One in Alberta. Email your questions for the leaders to albertavotes2012@cbc.ca.
