The Winnipeg Humane Society is hosting a cat-video film festival in South Osborne with a reel that includes Grumpy Cat, Milo and those Jedi-fighting cats who got CGI lightsabers.

The Just for Cats Film Festival raises money for animal shelters across Canada by putting together a reel of cat videos and showing them on the big screen.

Funds from Wednesday night's fest will go to the Winnipeg Humane Society, which takes in more than 5,000 cats per year.

Two screenings are scheduled for Wednesday night at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at The Park Theatre. Tickets are $10.
