People living in West Kildonan in Winnipeg had a startling wake up after a car jumped a curb, drove into a yard and slammed into a home. 

Police say a Pontiac G5 drove into a home on the 300 block of Margaret Avenue at about midnight.

The car didn't go into the house, but things on the shelves were knocked over inside. 

Two people in the vehicle are said to have run away leaving the smoking car behind. Shortly after the car bust into flames. 

Police are still looking for the suspects. 

No one was injured in the crash.
