Brandon jail brawl leaves inmate in coma

A man is still in a coma over two weeks after a brawl broke out in a Brandon jail between inmates.

A man is still in a coma more than two weeks after a brawl broke out in a Brandon jail between inmates.

Police said one male inmate punched another in the head on July 7. When the victim fell to the ground, he was also then kicked in the head, police said.

The man was taken to a Winnipeg hospital, where he remains in a coma.
