Boy hospitalized after house fire
A house fire caused an estimated $200,000 in damage and sent one person to hospital in Winnipeg.
The blaze broke out at a residence in the 100 block of Garrioch Avenue, in the St. James neighbourhood, around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
A boy inside the home sustained multiple injuries and was transported to hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition, police said Monday.
The age of the boy was not released.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
