A 15-year-old boy is recovering after being shot early Tuesday morning in Winnipeg.
Police found the boy, who had been shot in the lower body, in the 400 block of Burrows Avenue, said spokesman Const. Jason Michalyshen.
Michalyshen said the shooting might be gang-related.
"There is some information to support that [theory] at this point but I certainly can't confirm it," he said. "But we're going to be looking into into all possibilities with respect to that particular incident."
The boy's injuries are not life-threatening, Michalyshen said.
