The body of Dillon Beaulieu has been found on Lake Manitoba.

The body of the 22-year-old man was located just before 4 p.m. Wednesday by family members, about 11 kilometres from the area where the boat he was in capsized on May 14.

An autopsy is scheduled to take place Thursday in Winnipeg, RCMP said.

Beaulieu, of the Sandy Bay First Nation, was setting fishing nets in the lake with his friend Rambo Roulette, 25, when a storm blew in.

Strong winds overturned their boat and both men ended up in the water.

Roulette made it to shore, but Beaulieu did not.

Crews of searchers have been looking for him ever since.

The overturned boat was recovered on May 15 and two days later, Beaulieu's shoes were found.
