A 52-year-old man has been identified as the person whose body was found in a burnt-out cabin on Rocky Lake, Man.

An autopsy was recently completed following the fire, which broke out in the early morning hours of Feb. 4.

The man was a resident of Rocky Lake, in the Rural Municipality of Kelsey in central Manitoba. His name is not being released to the public, RCMP said.

The cabin was fully engulfed in flames when emergency crews arrived at about 4:30 a.m. The body was later discovered inside.

RCMP and the Office of the Fire Commissioner continue to investigate but, at this time, the fire is not considered suspicious.
