Blue Bombers' Lirim Hajrullahu boots way to CFL honour

Score another one for Winnipeg Blue Bombers' rookie kicker Lirim Hajrullahu.

Hajrullahu was named the Canadian Football League's special-teams player of the week for his performance in the Bombers' 23-6 win over B.C. on July 25.

Hajrullahu nailed five field goals, including one from 51 yards out, and made five punts with a 43-yard average.

The  24-year-old placekicker, is currently holding down the punting duties in the absence of injured punter Mike Renaud.

This is the second time this season the Bombers have had a player win this award, with Demond Washington earning the recognition week two against Ottawa.
