The Winnipeg Blue Bombers acquired quarterback Brian Brohm from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Monday for a conditional 2015 draft pick.

The Bombers also released quarterback Justin Goltz.

Brohm appeared in one exhibition game last year for Hamilton before spending the entire season on the injured list.

Brohm joined the Ticats after spending time in both the NFL and UFL. He played collegiately at Louisville (2004-2007) and finished as the school's second-leading passer with 10,775 yards.

Goltz spent four seasons with Winnipeg, completing 88-of-160 passes for 961 yards with three TDs and seven interceptions.
