The parents of an eight-year-old hockey player appear before a Hockey Manitoba committee April 16 to appeal their three-year suspension from attending his games. A Winnipeg mother and father have date to appeal their three-year ban from their child's hockey games. 

The parents of an eight-year-old player were banned after a brawl in a dressing room in Fargo, North Dakota in February.

Hockey Winnipeg said the penalty was the stiffest it's ever handed out to parents.

Peter Woods of Hockey Manitoba said the couple will appear before a Hockey Manitoba committee April 16.
