The river walk has been closed from the Osborne Bridge to the Main Street bridge due to the rising water levels on the Assiniboine River.

Barricades have been installed to prevent people from using the walkway.

Streetlights along the river walk have also been temporarily removed to prevent them from being damaged by river ice during the spring melt.

The river walk will be re-opened and light standards reinstalled when water levels lower.
