Arrest made after man attacked in Winnipeg bus shelter

A 19-year-old man was attacked and robbed on April 11 after falling asleep inside the shelter at Graham Avenue and Fort Street.

Four people have been charged in connection to the robbery and beating of a man in a downtown Winnipeg bus shelter.

Police say he was swarmed by a group of teens just after 1 a.m.

The victim was rushed to hospital in unstable condition and remains there in guarded condition.

A witness to the incident notified police and patrol members, including the Air1 helicopter, searched the area.

A 14-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy were arrested later the same day and charged with robbery and aggravated assault.

A 19-year-old man and 16-year-old boy were arrested April 14 and charged with robbery. The 16-year-old was also charged with failing to comply with the condition of an undertaking from a previous court case.
