Advance polls are open for people who want to cast a ballot in Manitoba's provincial election before the regular voting day, Oct. 4.
Polling stations for advance voting opened Saturday morning.
People can vote in advance until Oct. 1.
Elections officials have set up polling stations across the province, including one at Winnipeg's airport.
It proved handy for voter Thomas Switzer, who cast a ballot while waiting for an arrival.
"It's convenient," Switzer told CBC News Saturday. "I was quite surprised and quite pleased to see the options. I just think it's fantastic that we have the options we have. I hope the next federal election does the same thing. Particularly for people who are coming and going."
According to Elections Manitoba officials anyone eligible to vote can cast a ballot at any advance voting location in the province. People do not need a reason to vote in advance.
