Six teens between the ages of 14 and 17 are facing weapon-related charges after Winnipeg police officers noticed the group acting suspiciously.
Officers stopped the youths in the area of Isabel Street and Logan Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Additional police units were called to help with the group.
After searching the teens police found three cans of bear spray, an 8-ball and several machetes.
The six youths are charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
