Three people are charged with several drug and firearms-related offences after Winnipeg police busted a drug operation in a North End neighbourhood.

The police service's Street Crime Unit made the bust after finding drugs were being dealt out of a home in the 800 block of Aberdeen Avenue.

A search of the house on Tuesday morning resulted in the seizure of:

  • A loaded 12-gauge shotgun and ammunition
  • 9 rocks of crack cocaine
  • An 80 mg tablet of Oxycontin
  • 18 grams of marijuana
  • Assorted drug paraphernalia

Two men, aged 30 and 23, and a 21-year-old woman were arrested and charged.

All were detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
