2 Winnipeg suspects not so indecent after all, say police
2 men believed to have performed indecent act in front of kids just had wardrobe malfunction
What appeared to be an indecent act was actually a wardrobe malfunction, Winnipeg police said Friday.
On Wednesday a woman called police after she and three children witnessed what she believed was two men performing an indecent act near a playground on Varsity View Drive.
Two suspects were arrested yesterday and released without charge.
At the time of the incident, the men were intoxicated and trying to hide their drug paraphernalia, police said.
One of the men's pants fell down and police said the suspects' actions would have appeared indecent and suspicious.
No drug charges were laid as the suspects no longer had their materials with them.
