Two Winnipeg men were taken to hospital Tuesday morning after the pickup truck they were driving crashed and rolled near St. Laurent, Man., RCMP said.

Lundar RCMP were called to the scene of the crash around 4 a.m. north of St. Laurent near Oak Point, Man.

A southbound pickup truck carrying two 24-year-old men hit the shoulder on Highway 6, rolled over, landed in the west ditch and caught fire, RCMP said.

Both men were ejected from the vehicle and taken to hospital with serious injuries. Neither of the men was wearing a seatbelt, RCMP said.

It isn’t yet known whether alcohol was involved in the crash.
