2 Winnipeg homes targeted by gunshots

Police are investigating after shots were fired into two Winnipeg homes on Tuesday.

Police are investigating after shots were fired into two Winnipeg homes on Tuesday.

The first shooting happened just after 1 a.m. at a house in the 100 block of Matheson Avenue East, in the city's North End.

The second shooting happened an hour later in the 100 block of Beaufort Crescent in the Richmond West neighbourhood.

Police are treating each case separately, but are still looking into whether they might be linked.

No information has been provided on any injuries.
