2 rollover deaths linked to not wearing seatbelts, RCMP say
Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in an accident that claimed 1 life near Ashern, Manitoba
A single vehicle rollover at Moose Lake in northern Manitoba claimed the life of a 49-year-old man Saturday morning.
Police said the pick-up truck he was driving rolled over and he was ejected from the vehicle.
A 40-year-old man from the RM of Grahamdale died in a separate rollover near Ashern, Man. Saturday morning.
RCMP said the SUV rolled over on Old Road 514 just north of Highway 68.
Police said the driver was thrown from the vehicle which rolled onto its roof.
A 26-year-old passenger who was wearing a seatbelt was able to get out of the vehicle.
Police said alcohol is believed to be a factor.
