Two drivers died on Manitoba highways over the long-weekend, neither of which were wearing seat belts, one of which is suspected to have been under the influence of alcohol.

Two people were killed in separate motor vehicle accidents over the long-weekend and i n both cases the victims were not wearing seatbelts.

A single vehicle rollover at Moose Lake in northern Manitoba claimed the life of a 49-year-old man Saturday morning.

Police said the pick-up truck he was driving rolled over and he was ejected from the vehicle.

A 40-year-old man from the RM of Grahamdale died in a separate rollover near Ashern, Man. Saturday morning.

RCMP said the SUV rolled over on Old Road 514 just north of Highway 68.

Police said the driver was thrown from the vehicle which rolled onto its roof.

A 26-year-old passenger who was wearing a seatbelt was able to get out of the vehicle.

Police said alcohol is believed to be a factor.
