The City of Winnipeg is dishing out $362,269 to help 10 community centres with upgrades and renovations.

Mayor Sam Katz on Friday announced funding for the following projects:

  • Bourkevale C.C. — lighting upgrade ($31,191)
  • Northwood C.C. — Security system upgrade ($24,558)
  • Norwood C.C. — Washroom upgrades ($50,000)
  • Sinclair Park C.C. — Security system, flooring upgrade ($32,351)
  • Waverley Heights C.C. — Windows, doors, security system upgrades ($21,607)
  • Winakwa — C.C. Washroom upgrades ($50,000)
  • Valley Gardens C.C. — Exterior building renovation $47,699
  • Southdale C.C. —Washroom and flooring upgrades, acoustic enhancement ($48,784)
  • Tyndall Park C.C. — Flooring upgrade ($6,084)
  • Centre récréatif Notre Dame Recreation Centre — Washroom, kitchen and door upgrades ($49,995)
