One person is in hospital after a man believed to be intoxicated crashed into a Winnipeg Fire Department truck Saturday.

The crash happened at Osborne Street and Brandon Avenue at around 10:30 a.m.

Police said the driver of the van that hit the city vehicle was taken into custody.

Another person was also sent to hospital in stable condition, but it's unknown which vehicle that person was in when the collision occurred. 

No other details have been released.
