Highway 401 westbound near Dutton re-opened to traffic

A crash involving tractor trailers has forced the shutdown of the westbound lanes of Hwy. 401 near Dutton Tuesday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police have re-opened Hwy. 401 near Dutton after a crash involving two tractor-trailers early Tuesday morning. 

The collision forced the closure of the westbound lanes near Currie Road for about five hours. 

The crash happened around 5 a.m. Sgt. David Rektor said one of the trucks was hit from behind as it exiting a service centre.

Rektor said only one minor injury resulted.
