Hanover Police are looking for a man who stabbed a loss prevention officer on Friday shortly after 4 p.m. at a Hanover Walmart, and a woman who was with him.

The man fled the scene in a dark vehicle.

Police have identified the suspects and are encouraging them to turn themselves in.

"Within minutes of posting a photo of the suspects on social media and the press the tips began pouring in identifying the two suspects as individuals from the Brockton area."

Police Chief Chris Knoll thanked the public in a news release on Sunday after police posted a photo of the suspects to social media over the weekend.

The public is asked not to approach the suspects as they may be armed and dangerous.

Anyone who has any information is asked to contact the Hanover Police Service at (519) 364-2411.
