Who is Rudolph's favourite pop star? Beyon-sleigh.
This and other terrible holiday jokes are part of a new lighthearted video by Waterloo Regional Police. It's the force's take on other internet videos where people tell each other bad jokes and the first to laugh loses.
Actors Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are perhaps best known for the trend, doing videos where they insult each other and tell terrible dad jokes. NFL players have also put out similar videos.
The video was posted to the force's Facebook page on Tuesday.
"Nice to see the lighter side of the WRPS," one person wrote.
"Can you make this a series?" another person asked and WRPS responded, "We think that's a fantastic idea."
'What did the reindeer say?'
Waterloo Regional's finest have a hard time keeping it together, although Chief Bryan Larkin does a good job of it, even while wearing a hat with elf ears and a necklace with Christmas lights on it.
In the video, Insp. Michael Haffner asks Larkin: What did the reindeer say when the child saw him on the roof?
"What's the child doing on the roof? That seems like an unsafe condition. It seems like the Waterloo Regional Police should be there," Larkin said.
Haffner responds equally deadpan, "Very unsafe however, the child is very curious, heard Santa on the roof, went up, saw the reindeer, approached the reindeer. What did the reindeer say?"
