Waterloo police search for stroller in Mary May homicide
Missing stroller may contain 'important clues' in connection to case
Waterloo Regional Police have released an image of a stroller believed to be connected to the homicide of 55-year-old Kitchener woman Mary Anne May.
The stroller did not belong to the victim, police said Monday. The stroller went missing from behind May's Margaret Avenue residence shortly after her body was discovered in a park on Tyson Drive in the Bridgeport area of Kitchener.
Police believe the stroller, which is the kind that can be tethered to a bicycle "may contain important clues" in relation to the case, police said in a release.
Anyone with information related to the case is urged to call police (519) 650-8500 ext. 8642 or Crime Stoppers at (1-800) 222-8477.
