Waterloo man charged with voyeurism on university campus

A 21-year-old man from Waterloo is charged with voyeurism after taking photographs of a woman on the University of Waterloo's main campus on July 25, 2014.

Police have charged a 21-year-old man from Waterloo after he was caught photographing a woman on the University of Waterloo's main campus.

Detectives with the Waterloo Regional Police and special officers with the university responded to the incident near University Avenue West on Friday.

Police say the man was using a mobile phone to take "voyeuristic" photos of a woman who was unaware of the man's actions.

There were no allegations of assault or physical contact between the woman and the accused.
