Another home damaged in suspicious fire in Waterloo

Police are investigating another fire, believed to be suspicious, found on the front porch of a residence on Country Stone Drive.

Police say incident is not related to series of suspicious fires in northwest Waterloo

A fire Tuesday at around 5:15 a.m. caused moderate damage to a home located on Country Stone Drive.

No one was injured in the fire, but regional police believe it to be suspicious, saying it was "intentional and targeted."

The fire was discovered on the front porch of the residence.

Police say the fire is not connected to the series of suspicious fires that are under investigation in the northwest Waterloo neighbourhoods of Lakeshore Village, Lakeshore North, and Conservation Meadows.

The investigation into Tuesday's fire continues.
