Waterloo Regional Police are looking for a driver suspected of being involved in a hit and run on Thursday night in Waterloo's King and University area.

Investigators say witnesses spotted a red-coloured car with its hazard lights on, driving erratically northbound on King Street North towards University shortly before 11 p.m.

The driver reportedly failed to stop at two red lights before he collided with two other vehicles at the intersection and then fled the scene.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver, who is driving what's described as a red-coloured car with damage to its driver's side door and front left panel.

Anyone with information is asked to Waterloo Regional Police or Crimestoppers.
