A Cambridge councillor wants the city's new sports facility to be built anywhere other than at Conestoga College, despite the fact that council has already voted in favour of the campus location.

In an interview with Craig Norris on CBC Kitchener-Waterloo's The Morning Edition, Nicholas Ermeta said Riverside Park would be a better location for the proposed multiplex.

"I want council to realize that the location they have chosen is unacceptable and that we need to find a site that is better for all of Cambridge," Nicholas Ermeta told CBC News.
