Man accused of fatally stabbing Melinda Vasilije arrested in Texas
Ager Hasan, 24, of Hamilton has been on the run since April 28
Ager Hasan, the 24-year-old Hamilton man who is accused in the fatal stabbing of Melinda Vasilije of Kitchener, has been arrested in Texas for second degree murder, police say.
Police have said the two had been in a relationship for about a year. Hasan has been a fugitive since 22-year-old Vasilije was found dead in her Country Hill Drive apartment at 3 a.m. on April 28.

A man matching his description was spotted switching licence plates off a vehicle in a Walmart parking lot in Harborcreek Township, near Erie, Pa., around 10 a.m. that same day.
It's believed the man put the stolen plates on his own vehicle and fled the area.
He was last spotted in Tennessee on May 20.
Earlier this week a person posted to an Instagram account said to belong to Hasan.The posts indicated Hasan was ready to turn himself in.
