Man arrested in Kitchener bank robbery

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with a bank robbery last Tuesday in Kitchener.

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with a bank robbery in Kitchener. 

The robbery happened last Tuesday afternoon at the Bank of Montreal on Highland Road West when a man passed a note to a teller demanding money. He then left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. 

The Kitchener man has been charged with robbery and wearing a disguise. He is scheduled to appear by video in bail court Wednesday.
