Kitchener vehicle fire sparks police investigation

Waterloo Regional Police are hoping the public can help them find a suspected arsonist after a vehicle was torched near Benton and Victoria area in Kitchener on Thursday night.

Investigators say the Thursday night fire was deliberately set

Waterloo Regional Police are looking for help from the public to find a suspected arsonist after a vehicle was torched in Kitchener's Benton and Victoria area on Thursday night. 

The flames erupted at about 11 p.m. on Bybeck Crescent, said police. 

However, as of Friday early morning, police could not provide many details on what happened, including the make and model of the car or the extent of the damage.

No one was hurt in the incident, according to police. 

No arrests have been made and police are a making a public plea for witnesses.
