Firefighters says a blaze that consumed two trucks at a Kitchener business cost $85,000 in damages.
The fire happened around 2:25 a.m. at Rideway Transport on Courtland Avenue near Highway 7/8.
"When crews arrived, two tractor trucks were up in flames, and a third received paint damage from the heat," said Kitchener Fire platoon chief Kevin Karly. "Two trailers were also damaged on the front end."
Investigators initially thought the blaze was suspicious. But they have since concluded that the source of the fire was electrical, and is no longer being deemed suspicious, Karly said.
Total damage is estimated at $85,000.
