Trades, maintenance workers reach deal with University of Guelph
The union representing trades, maintenance and service workers at the University of Guelph says it has reached a tentative agreement with the school.
The university and local 1334 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees agreed to the deal late Saturday night.
Had an agreement not been reached, a lockout or strike could have begun as early as Monday morning.
Union members will vote on the deal early this week.
