Two Guelph teenagers who allegedly set off fireworks in Golfview Park may be wishing they didn't make quite such a big bang.

Police were called to the park around 9:30 p.m. on Friday over reports teens were setting off fireworks. Police arrived as the 15-year-old males set off a firecracker and discovered one of the teens was carrying pot.

That teen was found to be in breach of probation and arrested. He is facing charges of possession and breach of probation, as well as discharging a firework on city-owned lands. He'll appear in court in September.

Police took the other teen home to his parents.
