Guelph police car chase hits top speed of 50 km/hr
Guelph impaired driver was going between 30-40 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone.
Guelph Police say they have arrested a man after a not so fast and furious car chase.
Early Wednesday morning police spotted a vehicle travelling erratically near Edinburgh Road North and tried to stop it.
Another police vehicle coming from the opposite direction also tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver passed the cruiser and turned down London Road.
Police say they followed the driver travelling between 30 to 50 kilometres per hour all the way to his house. Earlier police told CBC News the driver had varied between 30-40 km/hr as they pursued him.
The 31-year-old Guelph man was found to be three times over the legal blood-alcohol limit.
The man was charged with impaired and dangerous driving as well as flight from police.
