Police say they have arrested two Guelph  men in connection with a child pornography investigation.

The two men, aged 34 and 23, face multiple charges, including sexual assault, invitation to sexual touching and making and distributing child pornography, Guelph police said Friday.

The two were arrested after police began an investigation on Feb. 11.

Investigators say the two men were known to their alleged victims.

As a result of the investigation known as Project Nickel, a 44-year old man in North Bay and a 27-year old man from Sudbury have also been arrested and charged with similar offences.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and they believe more victims and offenders will be found.
