Cherry Festival 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Cherry Park You don’t need a reason to head to a park this summer, but just in case, here’s a great one: The Cherry Festival in Kitchener is back. Check out the bands, a clown with balloon sculptures, face painting, the dunk tank, pony rides, and most of all, foods containing cherries, including cherry pie.

Forbes Park Music Festival Cambridge 10:00 am -10:30 p.m. Another great park, another great festival this weekend. Spiely,Trott & Pearson headline the list of bands, including Seven Sundays, The Fletcher Project and Foot Bridge Road, among others. There will be food, arts and crafts, bouncy castles, a splash pad, dance and martial arts demonstrations. Fun all day long!

"One Love" Festival 12:00 p.m. I hope you like jamming too, because TheMuseum’s One Love festival is going to be a feast for the senses. There will be Caribbean food, Jamaican folk dance music, urban reggae, a performance by Starlite Steelband and face painting. Plus admission is free!

Tri-City Roller Girls Championship Finals Saturday 7:00 pm Get the elbows out for the roller derby championship! The Total Knock Outs are facing off against the Venus Fly Tramps for the league title.  It’s an all-ages event, and kids 12 and under get in free.
