Two young children hit by a vehicle shortly after 6:00 p.m. Sunday night are now listed in stable condition in hospital.
The children, ages three and seven, were walking along the side of David Street with their father when a vehicle left the road and struck them. The father was not injured, police told CBC News.
The seven-year-old was airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital.
A 55-year-old man from Wellesley Township has been charged with two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
