A 19-year-old Cambridge man has been arrested by Waterloo Regional Police Services for allegedly threatening to stab a Grand River Transit bus driver while brandishing a samurai sword on Saturday afternoon.

The man had boarded the bus at the Ainslie Street bus terminal in Cambridge around 3 p.m. Police say no one was injured during the alleged incident.

The man has been charged with uttering threats to cause death and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
