Arson charge laid in Cambridge Memorial Hospital fire
A Cambridge man has been charged with arson after a fire at the front entrance of Cambridge Memorial Hospital early Monday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the hospital at about 2 a.m. after reports of a fire in a garbage can at the hospital's front entrance.
The fire then spread to a nearby bench and the roof.
No-one was hurt and the damage is estimated at $25,000.
Police said in additional to the arson charges, the man faces charges of endangering human life.
