Alleged drunk driver hits homes with car in Guelph

A 28-year-old Guelph woman has been charged with impaired driving after hitting multiple houses with her vehicle.

A 28-year-old Guelph woman, who police say blew three times over the legal alcohol limit, has been arrested after she hit multiple homes with her car on Summit Ridge Drive. 

Police said the incident happened early Friday morning at about 1 a.m.

The woman initially drove her car into her own home, according to police. She went into reverse, hitting two other homes in the process.

The woman then went forwards again and police said she hit a deck of a home next to her own.

Substantial damage has been reported, but police said no-one was hurt.
